Or maybe a bunkbed with a removable ladder, so you can control when they get up on the top bunk? </p> <p>I nannied for my cousins when they were 5 and 3, and they had bunk beds. They just weren't allowed to play in their room unsupervised, and everything was fine. My twins are three and my oldest will be four in November. They are getting pretty tall but the only way to get them into twin beds is to make a triple bunk. We have very small rooms. I just have nightmares of them jumping from level to level and being awful. Our transition to toddler beds was a nightmare of destruction and I am a little gun shy at this point but they are starting to outgrow the toddler beds. </p>
