Most military families having babies are early 20's; for non-military, most are mid-30's. I'm 27 and a grad student, and DH and I are the only ones among our friends who are married and having a baby. Many are on second, and even third marriages now.</p> <p>3 girls, and myself, had babies in June - we were all 30, and we all went to college and built careers. At 29 &amp; 3o most Military (or our Military friends) people our age have school age kids.<br /> DH had his daughter with his first marriage when he was 21...which is not that uncommon. </p>
