Even then, I'd like it to be in moderation. My parents were pretty strict when I was growing up and my dad was especially strict about wearing make-up. In high school, my older sister and I started wearing some, but no dark eyeliner (or dark/black fingernail polish either), no thick lipstick (lipgloss was fine), no full face foundation. Now I'm really grateful for my dad's rules because I have a really nice complexion. I was allowed to wear makeup in high school....but it was always subject to my mother's approval. I didn't ever wear much. One thing my mom did for my sister and I was took us to a spa for a makeup lesson with the MUA. That was okay by my mom, so she allowed it. I never wore a full face until I started working, and even then I just did concealer/foundation and blush.
