I can completely understand my parents' reasoning now, though...they often didn't know the parents of my new friends! I had one friend that I was allowed to have sleep overs with regularly, and it's because my mother and hers were very close friends.</p> <p>I'll probably let my LO sleep over at a friend's house at maybe age...8 or 9? My parents knew all of my friends parents really well and even grew up with some of them (really small town).
