I have no idea! I don't wanna think about it! I'd prefer that they'd wait until they're looking for a spouse, but that's going to have to be their decision. For actual, official dates, I think 16 or 17- whenever they'll have their full drivers license. I will drive groups of friends around, but I won't drive them around for solo dates. Although, I know a lot if kids who married the guy/girl they started dating at 15 or 16 (this is a cultural thing though, I think). And special dates, like, being asked to prom at 15 would be allowed, as long as we've met the guy/girl. But we'd have to meet anyone they chose to date before the age of 18, I think.<br /> Mostly, I just want my baby girl to know who she is and how valuable she is all by herself, without needing a boyfriend to prove it or having to let him touch her to be a worthy girlfriend. But that wasn't bc I was a bad or sneaky kid but because it was pretty arbitrary, we rarely were even alone. I plan on determining if DS is ready by his behavior/attitude. I think I was allowed to start dating (not group dates--one on one dates) around 15. If DS is responsible and mature enough, then 14-15 is fine with me.
