You can hear his whole conversation. In my department, 3 of us share a truck to do field work. One of my coworkers always leaves his trash in the truck and it drives me crazy. They'll be cups with his drink in there, McDonald's wrappers, food wrappers. I just stop making eye contact now. We have designated offices to make personal phone calls so as not to disturb others. One of my co-workers constantly gets phone calls from his wife, and he talks SO loudly. He is older, so I don't think he realizes how loud he is, but it's so annoying. He also refers to her as "sweetie" and "honey" all the time on the phone and that just makes me want to barf. The same co-worker also always slurps his drink really loudly.
