DS loves loves love to get puffs a little wet and then squeeze them with his hand. He likes the feeling and the sound they make...it is so GROSS! He also loves to chew on his sisters shoes, I have to keep them up high. Other shoes aren't as cool though.

@Mrs. Pen: My son went through that stage too! I have pictures of him holding random things in his mouth. lol! Those pics are just too cute!

@lovelife: It's so weird isn't it? My son will lay down on the floor and the minute I bribe him with something (usually food), he bolts up and starts running towards the kitchen. Such a little weirdo. haha

LO nods her head a lot but only when she's laying down or in her high chair. She jabbers and nods like she's having a conversation. Then, when I start talking to her she gets shy and self conscious about it. I always entertained myself by making noises and talking to myself like I was in my own little world. Maybe she's already taking after mom at 7 months.

@banana: my Lo lays down anywhere too! usually just at home, but she'll lay on the bathroom floor, or next to my feet when I'm doing dishes.... She also makes ridiculous faces and shakes when she hears the dog bark or when I ask here where the dog is.

omg DS is SO quirky!

He likes to crawl around the house with a toy or object in his mouth - just like a puppy dog. Yesterday it was a turkey baster and a domino. Weirdo!!

He also eats only colorful food. If I put rice in front of him and carrots - he always goes for the carrots. I've tried this with a variety of different foods and he always goes for the brightly colored foods!

My son is a quirky little guy. He likes only square lego pieces and gets mad if I give him anything other than the square ones. He likes to lie down a lot at random places when he's tired (like the supermarket aisle or the mall floor. ugh). He will only color with purple or red markers. Once in a while he'll ask for blue.

Anyone else have quirky LOs?
