Setting dirty dishes on top of the dishwasher instead of inside.
Leaving hairs and phlegm and grossness in the bathroom sink. We used to have separate bathrooms, but not anymore.
Leaving fans on inside a room that won't be used for hours.

He doesn't like that I avoid the bottom of the cereal bag and I'd rather open a new box of cereal, then combine them later.

@wrkbrk: there's a trash section on phones?????

Top 3:

Taking his shoes off in the middle of the floor. He finally saw the light when LO tripped over them. The first time he placed them in the designated shoe corner in our dining room I praised him like he was 5!

Sealing the bread bag and tortilla chips. He really doesn't think these things go stale, but he totally ruins them for everyone else. He does this with peanut butter too.

Using the sofa back cushions as personal pillows. Ugh! If I say more I'll get ragey. :bummed:

Haha, throw pillows--but kind of the opposite--I get mad that he crumples up my deco pillows when he's lying on the floor or using them to support his ipad, then leaves them in disarray. He used to get frazzled and ask why we have so many pillows, but now he's always asking me to throw him one... to crumple and leave in disarray! I mean, is it really that hard to place it nicely in the chair when you are done with it?? But, I don't say anything, because I'm just happy he's fine with the pillows, now, lol :) Plus, I like fixing them and leaving it pretty.

DH will take out a new toilet paper roll and place it on top of the holder... just put it where it goes!

I make DH mad because I leave cabinets open and don't completely screw lids back on jars.

A lot of the things mentioned here.

DH always leaves cupboard doors, kitchen drawers, and his dresser drawers open. He piles his dirty laundry on the floor near the hamper, instead of throwing it in. And somehow, no matter what he's doing in the kitchen, he makes a HUGE mess. Like he could be getting a bowl of cereal and somehow the kitchen will look like he cooked a 5-course meal. I don't understand it.

For me, I tend to leave food packages open. Not refrigerated stuff, but dry goods. Sometimes it is just because I'll take something out and leave it on the counter to graze on, then he comes through and closes it, then I go back and open it to grab more...repeat. Drives him crazy. I also have a tendency to buy food items I want to try and then I end up not liking them and don't finish them. He can't stand the waste.

We also have a hard time agreeing what to watch on Netflix.

Food! It's less often now but he's an extremely picky snacker, not really a meal eater. Which could be fine if he were to eat components of a meal when he's ready to eat again in 30 minutes to an hour but instead he will plow through two full bags of chips and a box of frozen junk foods in 2 days and bitch and moan about having nothing to eat the rest of the week. I feel he's overly picky and if he would think outside of the box a little he'd still have good, filling, nutritious food to eat at his own pace.

We used to argue about what side of the street to walk on when walking our dog. It drove me crazy that he'd walk on the right side of the street, or like we'd sort of be walking down the middle of our not busy street and a car would come and he'd split right while I went left. I've relaxed a little / mostly trained him now to stay left :silly:

We also have trouble walking together at the supermarket with a shopping cart...i can't even explain, it's ridiculous.

@gingerbebe: you reminded me of another one - my husband will leave the bath toys in the bottom of the tub so when I get up to shower first (right now we have one bathroom...sooo annoying) I have to bend over and clean out all the wet Barbie's, foam letters, etc.) not what I want to do at 5:45 in the morning!

Folding fitted sheets. He bunches them up or throws them at me to fold. It's not that hard!

For him, it's my shoe collection that starts to get out of control by the side of my bed. It's just easier to put them there if I'm changing into my slippers

@Adira: We got a motion sensor switch for the hall light.. you can set it to automatically go on/off after a certain period of time, or manual on/auto off or auto on/manual off. It's great cause our hall light is at by the bathroom so i can leave it on and walk back to our room in light knowing it goes off automatically later.

I like to have the bed made correctly when I'm sleeping in it.. neither of us fold it in the morning, but it needs to be made before I get in, whereas DH just gets in, blankets will be sideways or bunched up and he doesn't care, but I CAN'T sleep with the blankets messed up so I'll fold it with him in it, and then he gets mad because I steal his warm blankets or ruin his perfect comfy position.
Mine will set his recyclables on the counter right above the bag we put them in. The bag isn't even in a cabinet. It hangs there. He just needs to lower his hand 4 inches and let go. And if I don't move them they will stay there (I tried for 3 days and finally caved).

My husband bathes the boys every night and he uses a washcloth for the baby. He never remembers to put it in the laundry and literally ALWAYS leaves the wet cloth in the tub. He will even remember to come back later to empty out the baby bathtub, but that soggy ass washcloth will still be there. So EVERY night, I have to wring it out and put it in the hamper. If I don't, come Friday, there will be FIVE moldering washcloths in the tub. He's been doing this since DS1 was a baby and he's 2.5 now, so guess how long I have been ferrying wet washcloths to the hamper? Die.

Also, we leave the recycling bin in DH's office so the boys stay out of it and don't cut themselves on cans. DH drinks a lot of diet soda while he's working and when he finishes his drink, he can literally just turn around and toss the cans into the bin. But he WALKS THE CANS OUT OF HIS OFFICE AND PUTS THEM IN THE KITCHEN. AND THEN I HAVE TO TURN AROUND AND WALK THEM BACK TO HIS OFFICE!! And then he has the nerve to get mad at me for clanging cans into the bin while he's in there trying to work. Double die.

Love ya honey, mean it.

DH will put a new toilet paper roll next to the holder, but never actually on the holder. It drives me crazy!!! Like, seriously, it's right there.

I leave my dirty laundry everywhere though, so I guess fair is fair. ;)

@Adira: Omg, yes to the leaving lights on. My husband gets ragey about it and it drives me nuts. I'm pretty sure him having the TV on all day wastes more electricity than me leaving a light on for 10 minutes. :silly:
