He is amazing at thriving off less sleep than me. That means that he gets up with LO on weekends to let me sleep in- its so sweet!!!</p> <p>2. He is great at respecting LOS's schedule. Sometimes he's more in time with it than I am. </p> <p>3. He's so willing. If I need help with anything, he is right there to support me. We were BOTH sleep deprived the first six months because he knew we were equal partners! When I said I wanted to go back to school, he was/is 100% on board even though that means he will have to solo parent a lot while I study/do homework. Or if he gets home first, he makes dinner so I don't have to. He doesn't always do it but when he does the house gets clean, feels clean, &amp; stats clean (I'm notorious for just moving stuff around. boo)</p> <p>2. He relates to G so well &amp; is incredibly at spending one on one time with him... Even though he works 40-50 hours out of the house each week.</p> <p>3. He's great at holding down the fort if I have errands or if like today I wanted to go get a pedi &amp; he doesn't take it as "baby sitting" the kids. He is a much better cook that I will ever be. He doesn't need recipes, he can just throw ingredients together and experiment. He seems to know what flavours will and wont work together and exactly how to combine them. </p> <p>2) Taking the bins out... in that he always remembers to do it. If I had to remember, it would never get done! </p> <p>3) Controlling the dogs. He just has a way with them. They walk perfectly on the lead when he walks them and don't come near us when we are eating. He makes sure they tow the line!! </p> <p>Oh, can I add a fourth! She knows just what to feed them so that they'll actually eat!</p> <p>2) Bringing exactly what we need when we go out - When the kids are fussy, Bee will often whip out the perfect snack out of the stroller, when I didn't even think to bring anything with us! The other day, I brought a picnic blanket to the park and surprised her with it when we got there... I want to do that sort of thing more often. So, I've been making a bigger effort to plan ahead and anticipate things we'll need. It's hard though because she's so good at packing just the right thing! I've been amazed though at how just a little more planning can make such a big difference when we're out and about.</p> <p>3) Finding developmental toys I've never heard of, but that are perfect for the kids! - I'm pretty sure that if I were raising the kids alone, I'd never to think to buy them wooden blocks, magnetic tiles, LEGOS or Megablox... all things the kids spend all day building with. Ok maybe I'd buy wooden blocks, but they'd probably be some terrible brand that gives all the kids splinters or something. I'm continually amazed at how much the kids love the developmental toys that she finds for them!</p> <p>What are three parenting/household things that your SO is awesome at? </p>
