We got the nalgene one like @muffinsmuffins for the baby (now 2 and still going strong).<br /> We got these for my 4 year old last year and no mold yet.<br /> I get mold in every single kind of straw bottle so I've given up on them. We hand wash and use munchkin straw and spout brushes to get into all the crevices. I feel like that helps prevent the mold issue. I put all the bottle parts in the dishwasher for that reason. </p> <p>But contiguo has a lifetime guarantee. I would try to get a replacement one from them! We had a bunch of the camelbaks and they all got mold in the lid. I was happy with them UNTIL I noticed mold is forming where the straw attaches to the top... there is a small soft plastic piece and there is mold there!!! :bummed: :bummed: What the heck.. what are we doing wrong..
