Due with baby #2 in a couple weeks and trying to save all our $$ for her and presents for LO#1. It's similar, but different from the movie. From my recollection, it has the same flare as the movie, in that it depicts the story as a grandfather reading "and lets skip over these 7 pages of Buttercup packing her belongs" or something like that. I love the film, but the book really disappointed me. The way the author described women was downright disturbing in its misogyny. All the charm of the film was replaced with crudeness.
