Our daycare has gotten really good about asking parents to not bring in sugary sweets. The sign up sheet is usually consisted of "healthy" items. In the preschool room they're celebrating "eating healthy" week and in the newsletter they specifically asked parents not to bring in sweets for the party. When parents bring in cupcakes for birthdays they always put it in the kids cubbies and let parents decided. We are bringing in juice boxes.
