A man who sits on the local city council dies and finding a replacement brings lots of drama. All of the characters and side stories are connected, but that's the biggest story that ties them all together. I'm only about 1/3 of the way through but plan to finish it while I'm off this week :)</p> <p>I also just finished reading The Discovery of Witches and bought the second one but haven't started it yet.
