This year I think we’ll invite her friends from daycare, whereas her first birthday was mostly just our friends lol</p> <p>The theme is going to be Winnie the Pooh and I’m pretty sure I’m going to guilt my brother into dressing up in a Pooh costume, if I can find one that isn’t too expensive. Usually there's a rental fee, but I invited a bunch of moms from our apt's mommy's group, so the fee was waived. Haha. :P </p> <p>I think around 30 ppl came. We spent about $600. They set out tons of riding toys (cozy coupes, radio flyer riding toys, schwinn low trikes) toddler sized slides, teeter totter, bouncy house, small basketball hoop, etc). They have "indoor playground/play gym" during the week and my LO loves it. We only have a couple of children that we'll be inviting, and just immediate family. I'm thinking about renting a pavilion at a local park and letting them play on the playground. That's probably what he would pick if he had a choice, anyways. Grill hamburgers and hot dogs, and be done with it. They do all the set up and clean up...the kids can run around like crazy and parents can relax and watch their kids play. Ours included pizza delivery so that was the main food item and just set up some extra food (meat and cheese tray with rolls to make sandwiches, fruit salad, pasta salad, snack station for kids, cupcakes).
