They're huge hockey fans and sad to have recently moved away from a city that had an NHL team to ours which lacks one. We gifted it early, over Thanksgiving, when we knew they would be with our grandparents and thus many of the things they would want to archive. Everyone on my side is getting a DIY gift, except my father, who is getting a new knife set (which I got on a Black Friday deal and am splitting with my brother). I listen to podcasts. Little things like get the weather forecast, set a timer, or ask the time. </p> <p>DH wants to order the light bulbs that you can control with it. I think my mom sill hook it up to her smart thermostat. I don't think we use it to it's full potential but we got it on sale and really just wanted a way to stream music easily. We maybe will do something else too, I'm not sure. My parents will love it, but mil has higher standards, lol.
