I generally don't let him have battery powered toys but he has a car and track set that he hasn't been able to use for a while because he used all the batteries. I didn't buy more because he would turn the cars on, run them into a wall and leave them on all night! We got him the Christmas themed Lego train, and I think he will be excited, and surprised! His birthday is just a few days after Christmas and we got him the Lego motorization kit, so hopefully it will all be a big hit.</p> <p>For my daughter, she just wanted pink stuff. I got her a musical jewelry box with a rotating ballerina (and it's aalllll pink). He was obsessed with this little wooden snake at our friend's house the other day, so I have one to stick in his stocking. It was probably his least expensive present and I think he will like it the best!</p> <p>For A - a big horse that her dolls can ride. What's funny is that she was actually with me when I bought it. We were buying gifts for our Angel Tree child that day, and Alice kept talking about the toys we were giving to her "friend." She said her friend would love that toy horse and I already wanted to get it for her (DD), so I went ahead and put it in the cart and didn't mention that it wasn't for the Angel tree child. She came home so excited to tell Daddy and her brother about the horse she picked for her friend. Every day she reminds me that her "friend" (the Angel tree child) is getting a big horse and she hopes Santa brings her and Blake one too.
