I check to see if Depart/Returning to different airport saves money. We have public transit to two local airports. That is harder if you have a car parked at one airport.</p> <p>I also check to see if two one way flights are cheaper than round trip. But I finally sprang for an AK Airlines credit card, so I'll probably do all my flights through them just for the miles and the points.
