We're still using the baby tub at 18 months-- but we've had the kneeling pad from day one! I would for sure get one of those if you don't use it already.

@dojo: I would recommend a kneeling pad for sure! I think ours is by oxo and we've used it since LO was a newborn. I need to find something to store our bath toys in too, so no help there, sorry!

I started out using a non slip mat, but realized we didn't really need it.

I am not a big fan of too many toys in the tub, usually I need him to get in and get out, not linger!

We use a Skip Hop penguin toy holder, Skip Hop spout cover and a Rubbermaid mat from Target. ETA- we have a kneeling pad from Target..it is great but it looks bad now because DH also uses it when he cleans the pool. I think it was $15?

We are still using the infant tub for our 10 month old and are thinking to switch over to using the regular tub soon and I'm wondering what type of gear we really need. I want to get some sort of grip mat for the tub and probably a spout cover and was hoping to get some suggestions on what else is really needed or what works best for a bath time set up.

So far I was thinking about getting the skip hop whale spout cover and some generic looking bath mat off Amazon.

Do you use something to corral bath toys? (we only have a couple right now but I'm sure there will be more in the future)

What about a kneeling pad is that helpful or necessary? I keep seeing them on my Amazon search but we don't currently use anything and I'm curious if it's worth it.

Anything else I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!
