When I stayed at my parents house, I so regretted not having my exercise ball! I really need it to bounce when he gets fussy. It works way better than rocking or swaying.

We have a 2 month old:
PNP
Car Seat
Ergo
Pump
iPhone charger (to play white noise all night)
Pacifier
Bouncer

We just use a blanket instead of the activity gym... Grandma and Grandpa's house has fun new things to look at anyway! We don't do nightly baths, so usually bathe right before travelling.

sound machine, travel crib, bouncer at that age, car seat, stroller frame. I'd just use blankets from their house for tummy time or play.

- sound machine
- stroller
- boba 4G

Also pack and play (but we borrowed it here)

I was also lent a swing and a bouncer seat but I could have done without both.

When we travel we make sure to take a sound machine (or make sure there's a loud fan there) and lovey. Those are the two things he can't live without! Also a carrier or stroller. And car seat. And diapers. Everything else seems to be "optional" :-)
