I also like things on skewers, like tomato basil mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders with peanut sauce, or cheese and salami/ham/turkey. I also like cold fruit like watermelon or strawberries. Crostini is also good and easy - just slice and toast baguettes brushed with olive oil ahead of time and serve with a big bowl of bruschetta topping or spinach artichoke dip in a crockpot. Or just logs of goat cheese and wedges of brie with a bowl of jam. Guac and salsa with chips is an easy standby.</p> <p>I think cupcakes are easier to eat but I think cake is just fine.
