She grows so fast, I have a hard time justifying the cost of new clothes. For the first 6 months, my son wore sleepers almost exclusively. You can't beat a zippered one piece for warmth and convenience in those early days. I got them from Carters so when they got wrecked I could let them go. Luckily most of the clothes we have are hand-me-downs, but on the few occasions when I did buy clothes, they were from BRU or Old Navy. I hate spending a lot of money on baby clothes (heck I hate spending over $20 on a shirt for myself) so it was always when they were having a sale.</p> <p>Oh, the one exception was the time my husband and I walked past a Baby Gap and he went crazy buying dresses for Claire.
