Last week he acted like it was the worst thing I could put in front of him. It's super frustrating. The only things he'll eat reliably are sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and well-cooked celery. Oh, and tomato sauce, which hardly counts but I'm taking it as a victory. He used to eat peas but now just gets excited, yells "Ball!" and throws them. Yesterday he took a bite of cucumber and didn't spit it out and we celebrated like he'd won a Nobel prize. Baby zucchini cooked the same way. Hot and cold on broccoli and cauliflower. They will eat an entire bag of frozen peas for dinner (cooked!). Other vegetables they love include: cucumbers (their all time favorite and always has been for both of them), broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, corn, and sweet potato. </p> <p>I've been trying to get them into carrots with no avail, and I always sneak mushrooms and onions into tomato pasta sauce and sauteed ground beef.</p> <p>What are your LO's favorite veggies? </p>
