@jape14: Same about my 15mo not liking avocado! I haven't done it on toast yet though, I'll try it! I think for him its texture that he doesn't like solo.
Also love your fake out Mac and cheese! I'll have to try, I have that stuff on hand too.

DS is 15 months:

- chicken sausage (applegate farms brand frozen breakfast sausages)
- veggie burgers (DonLee brand from costco. he is obsessed with them & the ingredient list is really good/minimal.)
- Dr. Praeger's veggie cakes/patties (we get the kid ones or the regular ones; he likes the broccoli/potato, zucchini/carrot, roasted corn, and sweet potato ones.)
- waffles (mini blueberry or regular ones from WF)
- cheddar cheese (just cut up pieces of whatever block I have around - no cheese sticks or string cheese)
- peanut butter on bread/waffles
- frozen peas
- frozen broccoli/cauliflower/carrots
- bananas
- clementines
- blueberries or strawberries
- ditalini pasta with pureed butternut squash, peas/broccoli, beans, and parmesan cheese. easy to make, fakeout mac & cheese. (I always have the ingredients handy - packs of butternut squash puree from target - and cook once a week)
- cheerios
- corn chex (he's obsessed)
- cheddar bunnies
- eggs
- avocados for avocado toast (he doesn't like avocado on its own but hoovers avocado toast)
- pouches (any fruit, veggie, or yogurt as long as there is no sugar added)

@FaithFertility: I feel like my son is a weirdo! He isn't a fan of poultry (chicken or turkey). He loves fish and ground beef though. And he'll do ground turkey. But cut or shredded chicken or turkey breast he just isn't interested.

Hummus is a good idea. We did it once and I just forgot about it. We always have it too!

LO is 23 months:

Waffles
Peanut Butter Toast
Black Beans
Cheddar Cheese
Bananas
Pears
Grapes
Hummus
Pretzels
Hot dogs
Bran flakes
Applesauce
Any vegetable pouch

I wish he ate more of a variety, but I think he has a hard time with texture, which is why he won't do any veggies, but will eat them in pouch form.

I'd say simply cheese and fruits are her staples at 12 months!

We eat a lot of different things but those are her favorite and therefore staples. I'll add fish too!

@gingerbebe: ah yeah, I forgot I do always have shredded cheese too for his eggs! He now says "cheesy eggs" and it's adorable :-)
I always mean to make silver dollar pancakes and forget. I made them once with chopped strawberries and froze them. He loved it! Always forget to do it again. I have flaxseed meal that I want to mix in.

We have a few items that we always have on hand now for my 15 month old. I like these items but would be interested in some new ideas. What do you always have on hand because LO likes it, it's easy, etc?

- cheese (the individual snack bars and shredded for eggs)
- eggs
- Cheerios
- blueberries
- bananas
- chickpeas
- frozen fish filets (the unbreaded bumblebee ones, lifesavers for dinner!)
- frozen peas
- frozen broccoli
- quinoa (how does my kid like quinoa and I don't?)
- yogurt
- earth's best smoothie pouches (though I just bought the sqooshi reusable pouches, I hope I can start making smoothies for him!)
- pasta
- cheddar and graham bunnies
- frozen whole grain mini waffles
- freeze dried yogurt drops

And of course he has plenty of other things too, but these are the items I always have on hand and would make a special trip to the store for if we ran out because I rely on them.
I know this is a decent variety but I am curious if there are any other tried and true foods that I should try :-)
