He drools so much he'll soak his shirt. Swollen gums, runny nose, tugs at ears.

I know what you mean about tugging your shirt! DS gets close to my boon sometimes and starts panting!

MY LO tends to get clingy and fussier for seemingly no reason. When we can't explain why he's fussy, we oftentimes blame it on the teeth. He's usually only needy for an hour or so, then back to his usual self. Just two days ago, he was crying in the wee morning hours and was inconsolable for 15 minutes. Usually, nursing him would work, but he kept trying and popping off, so that's when I suspected it was his teeth. So, instead of nursing, I spoon-fed him some avocado and he didn't bite down on the spoon as usual, so that's also how I suspected. His cry-fest also happened to be on the one night he wasn't wearing his amber teething necklace. Hmmmmm.......

He doesn't have many, up until his molars came in we rarely noticed until we saw the tooth poking through. He wears an amber teething necklace, so I'm fairly convinced that helps a lot.

I feel like LO has few consistent teething signs. Crankiness, slight fever, and looser poop are pretty normal.

I guess her signs are the clingy crying ear tugging behaviors. I hate teething. Poor little ones!

Aww. Poor E (and poor you)! M has four teeth poking through but she's been acting normal all week. Tonight she's woken up 4 times and it's not even 11. This is NOT like her. Just gave some Tylenol hoping it's the teeth keeping her up. Fingers crossed!

E gets really cranky and clingy. He cries big, real tears whenever I set him down or move away from him (to the bathroom, to the kitchen, whatever). He tugs on his ears, his cheeks flush, and he's up a lot at night. And he nurses like crazy. Constantly. Today he figured out he can tug my (nursing) tank aside and latch on, and it was constant. Like several times an hour constant. My poor girls feel used and abused!

He had a pedi appointment several weeks ago and she told us his molars were starting to swell and that we should probably expect him to start teething in about a month--which is about now. I hope that's what this is and not some new behavioral tic!

(And I definitely need to not let him yank my top aside to nurse. I don't want to be THAT mom with THAT kid. I don't often nurse outside of the house, and I felt bad for him today, but I don't want it to become a habit.)
