Reviving this thread to let you all know that I just happened to see that the Stila Custom Color blush that we raved about is on sale now for $8. I'm still loving it and when people tell me I look great at almost 37w pregnant, I'll take it!

Not sure how shipping works with that, but FYI:

@Adira: Yay! So glad you love it! I clean my brushes every week (or every other week!), and it's just a simple technique like this (I use Cetaphil):

http://theeverygirl.com/how-to-clean-your-makeup-brushes

There are also cleaning gloves to help with the process too, although I don't own one yet, but it's on my list:

@looch: I am not - I just love makeup! I have not tried the Artis brushes, but I am familiar with them (I have a mix of mostly MAC and Sigma brushes). I have been tempted to try the foundation brushes, but just haven't made the jump yet!

Eta: For me it comes down to what I wrote earlier--if I am going to take the time to do it, I want to get the most out of my efforts! And to me, it is so worth it from the self-confidence boost I get as well . . . I may not feel put together, but at least I can look it (and the feeling catches up eventually!).

@snowjewelz: The Sigma F80 brush (the one Jaclyn Hill uses in the video)? It is AWESOME. Seriously. And it really doesn't take much product to cover your entire face. Which is key when you're layering products!

@pwnstar: Yes, I think the biggest thing is accepting that I need to make some changes. I had to invest a little bit of time and money to find things that worked. In the past, when I was younger, it didn't really matter, everything worked. But now as I have aged, I've come to realize that I need different formulations and products.

@looch: That is awesome! So glad you found something that worked for you . . . I mean, if you're going to go to the trouble of highlighting and/or concealing, you might as well get the full benefit! And most just need a couple of tweaks to really make it work for them.

@avivoca: So happy for you! The best part is how great you feel about how great you work . . . every little bit helps!

@pwnstar: I have fallen deep into the rabbit hole of YouTube...as a result, I've now ordered a beauty blender, a knock off Artis brush to apply foundation and I've visited Sephora twice in the last week to buy products, lol.

I bought a peach corrector to combat the bluish undereye circles, I put that under the concealer and I really can't believe the difference it makes.

@pwnstar: Alright, so I have been watching videos and the common theme is that I don't use enough product. I use very little and I think that's actually the biggest issue, since there's not enough to blend, I am just applying it and then basically taking it off again with my fingers.
