LO is 10 months and we generally don't watch tv or use computers/phones when he's around . i think i would let him have more screen time if i were a WAHM or SAHM and needed it as a little break. i will also probably use screen time if we have another baby to keep the older one occupied for a bit, just like you mention!

We don't watch much TV, no rules. DS isn't really interested in TV, just like his parents.

No rules. It's on most of the day for background noise for me, and she can watch it if she wants. She mostly just likes the commercials with fun music though. I'll put on Disney Jr for her when she's eating something she can feed herself, otherwise she will just feed the dog. She watches short animated movies or parts of animated movies with us. She is happy & healthy, and that's what matters to me. :)

Oh, she's 9 months.

No hard and fast rules for our 21 month old, but I just try to keep it in moderation. During weekdays when it's mostly just her and me, I try to keep it at a minimum (just in the morning for a bit, usually). Weekends/evenings are tougher - DH watches a ton of football so I feel like the TV is always on. I try to make up for that by limiting it during the day.

LO is 15.5 mos and we don't let him watch any tv at this point. He does see it when we have the news on sometimes or if DH is watching sports on the weekend. I've put it on for him before and he's totally uninterested.

How old are your kids and what screen time do you allow?

For our two year old- he is allowed to watch a DVD when I am putting the baby to sleep (usually about 20 minutes). This a a house destruction prevention measure, and I'm not sure how we could cut it out. iPad only during long distance travel (flying and road trips).
For our baby- no screen time.
