The older we got the more creative he got. It was super hard to find them. Then we would go to church in a new Easter dress. But I LOVED easter traditions at church and through my friends' families... our neighborhood actually painted bunny prints on everyone's walkways each easter and I loved that! (even though the easter bunny never left me a basket... haha.) </p> <p>I'm really excited to start easter traditions this year with RJ. Last year he was still a little bit too young to understand or enjoy. This year we're going to an easter egg hunt at his preschool and I will (at some point this week... eek!) put together an easter basket for him. I think I must have been jealous of my friends who celebrate Easter when I was young but not it's tradition. It's the same meal every year, starting with matzo ball soup, then brisket. My parents have lots of different Hagaddah's (the book that leads you through the seder) so it's tradition that nobody ever has the same book and we never know where we are. At my husband's house, my MIL only keeps kosher for the meal. By the time dessert comes..... she serves something like banana bread. It's kind of nice because Passover food is gross. </p>
