I am doing layers like this: (boy)</p> <p>short sleeve onesie, hoodie or sweater-with-hat, pants, socks, Robeez boots, and mittens! </p> <p>Loving microfleece. Old Navy microfleece hoodies that make the babies look like animals are my personal fave. :)</p> <p>I find the short-sleeve onesie layer is still important because some places turn up the heat too much and its like summer inside then!</p> <p>I also love 'snowsuits'. Long sleeve onesies over rompers/overalls. For us it's the perfect layering for being in a chilly room and not super bulky that I can't put her in an bundler for walks outside. I can always add a sweater and a jacket on top if its really chilly.</p> <p>I bought a few sweaters and thin jackets. I think I'm going to pick up more winter hats and hooded sweaters. I don't know if buying an actual jacket is worth it?</p> <p>We go for a walk every morning with the dog and since it's been cooler we leave him in his footed pajamas, put on his hat, sweater and a pair of Robeez fur-lined boots. I would say lots of jackets/hoodies/sweaters and thick tights in a variety of colors (we have white, ivory, black, gray, baby pink, hot pink and red). I much prefer this to tights, but I have a boy. It's quite common for boys to wear tights here too, when they are inside, they take off their pants. I also bought her long sleeve onesies and then I layer her summer clothes over it.
