(I did it at 5 weeks pregnant.) </p> <p>While I was pregnant, I wanted to move to a bigger apartment or rent a house, and make the most of my last summer pre-baby-- beach trips, visiting family out of state, going out with friends, etc. Most of that didn't happen because I was on bed rest for 7 weeks during the summer. DH finished a mountain climbing course, and wanted to climb a mountain, which he did. </p> <p>--- so no house buying, no savings plan, (we already had a rainy day fund saved up, totally unrelated to any thoughts on a baby). We wanted to travel outside the US, but realized it would put our TTC timeline back 2 years, so that was shelved. As far as stuff to have done while preg bf baby- we wanted to be in a bigger place where we wouldn't have to move for at least 2-3 years. We thought about buying or renting, but we knew we weren't ready to buy a house in the suburbs yet.
