I have a tall skinny girl, too! I've found that the best fit for her is The Children's Place. Primary we've only gotten 1 dress from, but that fit well (and was oh so soft!). Carters is a little wide, Old Navy bottoms are GREAT, but bodysuits or tops are very loose. Target's Cloud9 is tall enough, but too wide until she hits the end of the weight range.

Overall, we default to TCP for when we want a good fit, and Carters when we want a good deal. Old Navy I buy with the knowledge that it will be a bit big, so can be used in transition (their stuff is so dang cute that I can't resist sometimes).

Kickee Pants run very tight and small. So very comfortable, too. A little pricey but you can get them on Amazon.

Gerber brand! It runs long but super thin at the same time if that makes sense lol also very inexpensive. I know you can find it at Walmart and maybe target?

What about European brands? They tend to run smaller for adults, so I would think the kids ones would too...like H&M for sure is small, as is Zara (at least they were for my son).

As a mom to three girls, the biggest of which has "topped out" at around the 13th percentile for weight, my best advice is to get good at stitching a quick little pleat in the waistband of leggings, or get your DD used to wearing jeans/cords (since they have adjustable waistbands) - my girls unfortunately won't wear these. The pleat is generally my strategy and only takes a few minutes per pair after you've done it a few times.

Tea Collection leggings (not necessarily other clothes) definitely run skinny; I've had ok luck with some of the Garanimals ones from Walmart (but tend to just by the jeggings, because the Walmart colors don't really match our other clothing). Old Navy is also not too bad (but I find the patterns wear off of those quickly if I stain treat them at all).

My oldest was super skinny. The Target Circo brand was the best fit but unfortunately no longer carried. If you see any used ones grab them! The Cat & Jack brand is not the same. Some Carter's run skinny but not all and the Kohl's brand Jumping Beans run skinny as well. Old Navy too like many pp mentioned too.

Tea collection and old navy were the only brands that didn’t fall off my 3% baby. I wanted to try primary but they don’t ship to Canada.

Now they she’s a thin toddler, the only thing holding up most of her pants is her diaper. She also has a lot of ankle showing these days ; :silly:

I can't help, but I'm following the replies haha. My oldest was a super skinny baby (still is!) so I just kept her in onesies and BabyLegs 95% of the time.

Gerber brand onesies and sleepers seemed to fit smaller than others. My daughter was a chunky baby, and she seemed to outgrow Gerber clothes before her others. Garanimals also seemed to fit a bit smaller.

Not sure if this'll help because my little is all around tiny and short, but I like the way Carters, Child of Mine (by Carters) and Garanimals have fit her.

Old navy has leggings that fit kind of skinny. But not all their clothes.

@MsMini: we had a long skinny baby but she is 6 now. In our experience at the time, the carters baby and toddler leggings were a good fit for her. When we bought the same size in carters and old navy they often were equally skinny but carters was slightly longer so they would last an extra few months. (I have no more recent advice because my second is a boy who is in almost all hand me down clothes!)

Just got some items from uniqlo and they fit verrrrry snugly on my tall skinny toddler! not sure if that would also apply to infant sizes but may be worth a try since i find their stuff reasonably priced and very soft/comfy.

@cake2017: Carters used to be SO skinny fitted but recently I think they started cutting wider ... the leggings I bought fit so wide!

@SweetCaroline: my kids all have hated footed sleepers from babies! Burt’s bees Jammie’s are really slim fitting I have found! I will have to look into primary!

@LemonJack: The only jeans that don’t look ridiculous on her thus far are the Old Navy ballerina jeans, I will order some leggings to try!

My DD has always been super long and skinny, she's almost 3 now.

Most recently discovered Primary, which are skinny and long. So, I don't know if their baby clothes are the same.

We have also had good luck with Crazy 8 and The Children's Place. Old Navy too! I'm mostly referring to leggings. She could never wear one piece sleepers without feet, or overalls. To get the length, they were just so ridiculously wide.

Now that she's potty trained, Carter's clothes don't fit her at all.

ETA: Tea Collection leggings also fit well but they are $$$ and don't hold up as well.

So I have an ultra thin baby this time around, after having average - pudgy babies the last times. She is 70%ile for height and<10%ile for weight, we are trying to put weight on her but in the meantime any clothes that fit her length are falling off of her. What brands (bonus points for shipping to Canada) fit the super skinny baby set?

Picture ... because she is cute 😉
