I've heard that you should find sunBLOCK instead of sunScreen. The key ingredients are zinc oxide and/or titanium oxide.

The two types of physical sunblocks that are available are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Both provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and are gentle enough for everyday use. Because these are physical blocking agents and not chemicals, they are especially useful for individuals with sensitive skin, as they rarely cause skin irritation.

@artbee: Yeah, DD likes her baths & we rarely skip either but I know as summer gets busy & it's lighter late it could get tempting!! Sunscreen (& any lotion, bug spray, etc) freaks me out though, so I will absolutely be giving baths if there is any product on or near LO

@sulli301: Yeah we rarely skip baths, but if I'm not feeling well sometimes we do just so hubby doesn't have to do it himself. But not if it was a sunscreen day!

@artbee: yes! I think rinsing it off is such a good idea! Especially because after a long day it can be tempting NOT to...

@Mrs. Bee: do you prefer episencial or california baby?

@Rubies: do you use the baby specific kind by aveeno?

@chopsuey119: that seems to be the popular choice for natural sunscreens. I do like their diaper cream when DD gets really red
