I didn't want to risk my supply and I didn't get my period until she was about 10 months. We used timing and pull and pray in te mean time. </p> <p>I did just start the mini pill. I had a really hard time remembering to take the pill everyday, and with the mini pill it was super important to not only take it everyday, but at the same time everyday! We want to wait 2-3 years between LOs and I have heard too many stories of the minipill failing. And after years of not using condoms, don't really want to deal with them. The mini pill is only effective if you take it within the same 1 hour time frame every day, and some days I couldn't even remember to brush my teeth before noon! lol! I had no supply issues with it, no side effect physically as far as I can tell. The only issue I've had is that my libido is low.
