We also have a set of plain wooden blocks and Citiblocs. I still help with building stuff, especially the Lego sets, but my son enjoys them all. I might get some Tinker Toys later but I think they're fairly advanced. ETA: The plastic Tinkers are rated 3+. Growing up though we had all sorts of fun stuff like Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, little legos, and duplos. She really doesn't play with the mega blocks but I would like to maybe pick one or two sets and build a collection. Thoughts on pros/cons?
