I’d love to see:</p> <p>- Kindergarten readiness: what you did to make sure they had the skills they needed (like using a lunch account, opening a lunch box, navigating the school bus, using the bathroom with the door closed, keeping track of take home folders/library books/etc.). So aside from making sure they weren’t nervous, what did you do to prep them?</p> <p>- Lunchbox lunches. I know there have been some on these in the past and I always love them!</p> <p>- Anything from parents of children with late birthdays who started kindergarten on time (DD1 is 10/31 with 12/1 cutoff). Are you glad you did? Any challenges or perks? What might you have done differently?</p> <p>- Hands-on activities working parents can do on the weekend or easily leave for caregivers to do. Especially garden-based, winter/indoor learning activities/experiments, and activities that are appropriate/adaptable for a range of ages (like toddlers and preschoolers working together).</p> <p>- How you deal with cold and flu.
