@PastaAndPotato: i just downloaded it! :-)

@crash806: i haven't read that one yet but i think i have read all of her other books!

@His Barista: just from the title, it doesn't sound like a beach read? LOL.

@ALittleP: i think i am in the minority but i didn't like The Time Traveler's Wife -- oops!

@artbee: that is what i said, but DH insisted that he will entertain the DD so i can read - we shall see!

@daniellemybelle: i am scared to read 50 shades of grey! :-D

@looch: oh that reminds me that i am only partially done reading At Home by Bill Bryson. i should finish that sometime but i lost interest in it after a while ...

I like anything by Bill Bryson. I read more nonfiction now because I don't lose the plot if it's months between reading sessions.

Jodi Picoult books are good beach reads - the day will fly by! I am also quite enjoying the 50 Shades of Grey series :)

I am jealous that you're going to the beach!

I was going to say, when do you have time to read with your lo there! I like magazines, much quicker to read, and if I stop for a while it doesn't matter unlike a book where if I put it down ill forget what I already read.

I read "Her Fearful Symmetry" by Audrey Niffeneger (sp?) - the same author of The Time Traveler's Wife. I really liked it - well written and fascinating story :)

Have fun at the beach!!

i LOVE "the bungalow" by sarah jio - it is seriously one of the best books i've ever read, and would be an awesome beach read (i already have it packed in my bag for when the weather finally turns!)

Anything by Marian Keyes is a wonderfully trashy beach book.
I just read Divergent by Veronica Roth, and if you're a fan of the Hunger Games, its terrific.

Skinnydipping by Bethenny Frankel is supposed to be a good beach read. I haven't read it though. It's on my reading list.

I'm a big fan of Jodi Picoult, Nicholas Sparks, and Diane Chamberlain (to name a few (: ).
