Carter's run a little small but not as bad as Gerber. Gap fit my oldest son perfect and still does. At 3 he's very average and not slim nor chubby. Gymboree used to run big for him but now seems to be true to size except for their pants. Their clothes tend to run long if anything.</p> <p>Now for my youngest, he is outgrowing everything before my eyes. He was born in the same season as his older brother but he's a lot longer. He's almost 5 months and 6 months clothes are tight already. He can wear 9 months now. But infant clothing seems different, DD's sweaters are short but not tight and her dresses also seem short...but then again I can't wear h&amp;m shirts because they always shrink and aren't long enough.</p> <p>@zippylef: For us, Just One You by Carters does seem to run smaller than regular Carter's. Those were the first NB outfits she out grew. He is a "true to size" baby, I guess.
