I use the store brand. I just can't justify $15 for 30 pills... Sorry baby. So I got the 250 pills for $8 and do have to buy DHA separately. I am fine with that though. They still have everything I need in them without the special overpriced name attached to the bottle. Plus I have to take an additional RX iron supplement with Vitamin C and some other vitamin in it... I can't remember what ATM. This baby it getting PLENTY of vitamins in the end!

I take the new chapter perfect prenatals - I just wish they weren't so pricey! I used to take some huge generic ones but I couldn't stand the smell and they way they upset my stomach.

I have problems swallowing large pills too so have been taking vistafusion gummies throughout my pregnancy and loved them. The only thing is they are low in DHA, so I supplement with Target Up and Upp pills, which has 200 mg of DHA. These are small pills that's easy to swallow. I'm continuing to take this combo (gummy plus DHA) now that I'm nursing. My doctor said its a great combo.

@cascademom: @softcream: @Arden: @JessLC: I'm another one for Rainbow Light. I love them. I took the petite mini for the first half of my pregnancy and then started taking the prenatal one--which I still take almost 10 months pp. I love that their prenatals are so gentle on the stomach, good for the digestive tract, and are wholefood based.

@MrsH: Oh really?! The store brand I have is Meijer and I got it for $3 which was awesome, but that was at the Meijer outlet. I will have to look into having my Dr. write something up for me. Thanks!

Target brand ones (up&up) with DHA--2 separate pills. I took the other Target ones like @Mrs. Polish before pregnancy but then my doc made me switch during...I don't like the DHA much. But what can ya do. They're easier to handle than the prescription ones, so I'm thankful for that.

I take the Rainbow Light Prenatal One ... They're vegan, which I need. I loved the idea of the gummies, but I can't eat gelatin. I'm also taking a vegan DHA/EPA Omega-3 a few times a week. It's absolutely terrible tasting, so I spread them out and only take them when I'm feeling brave.

I was taking the same Vitafusion Gummies ones at the beginning of my pregnancy, and loved them, until I hit a week around 12 weeks where I was all of a sudden practically gagging them down...weird taste buds changing or something! Plus they didn't have any iron in them and my OB was concerned about that. So I switched to the One-a-Day prenatals with the DHA supplement - haven't had any problems with those other than that the pills are pretty big. I use lots of water! I also take a calcium supplement (one of those chocolate chewy square thingies).

Rainbow Light Petite- you take 3 small pills instead of one big one, which was a really good thing in first trimester with the nausea and gagging. The gummies sound so good but most don't have much calcium, and since I'm lactose intolerant, I figure that's one thing I need to make sure to get in my vitamin.
