DD is 14 months, she's average all around. She was getting pretty slim, but has now started putting on some chubs again. She fits:

Pants: Carter's, TCP, BabyGap pretty well in a size 18m to 2T.
Koala Baby (Babies r Us brand) varies, most fit too loose.
H&M, she fits 74 (80 is still too big) -- generally big
Polarn o Pyret 68 and 74 -- huge.

Onesies and rompers: Carter's fit true to size, Gap varies between style so she fits some 6-12m, others 12-18, while some are too big in 12-18.
Koala Baby, small. 18m is getting small for her.

Tops and sweaters: BabyGap is true to size, Carter's varies (usually small), Polarn o Pyret true to size (80), H&M varies, Next true to size to big.

Pjs: Carter's true to size, Next ginormous, H&M big, Polarn o Pyret huge.

DS is off the charts for height (almost 31'' at 6 months) and in the 90-something for weight (20 lbs). He is incredibly tall, and fairly thin in the belly, with chubbier legs. BabyGap and Carters fit him the best. He's still in 3-6m pants for his waist, but needs 6 or 9m in onesis or rompers for length.

@winniebee: my LO runs big. We got a beautiful jumper when she was two months that was 3-6. I put it on her once and the next week it was too small. It's so frustrating. She's pushing the limits on the 6-12 stuff now. I was really hoping to get five more months out of it. :(

@oliviaoblivia: funny you think j and j runs small! I think their onesies run small but everything else is huge.

LO is 15 months and proportionate but small overall. Id.say Gap fits him best.

DS is 11 weeks and is 25% in weight and 50% in height. Carters, Cherokee (Target), and Circo are all wide on him. Ralph Lauren and Gap fit perfectly. Gymbo seems to fit well too. Osh Kosh is HUGE. He has a newborn Osh Kosh outfit that is still way too big!

10 months, long and skinny (16th % for weight, 90th% for height!).

Carter's generally works well, their clothes fit his torso nicely, baby gap length fits great but is usually too baggy on him in the waist (I size down in pants unless they have adjustable waists).

She's 10 1/2 months old and 75% for height/10% for weight

Carter's work the best seem to be made for a stringbean

Children's Place is pretty true to size

Old Navy & Gap we get a size down (she was wearing 3-6 months shorts at 9 months)

Gymboree & H&M run big so I get a size down for pants, regular size for shirts

Target Circo is very true to size, we get a lot here. Cherokee runs a little wide for her so it's hit and miss if they work.

carters! some circo, but I only have a few pieces (all bottoms).

I find that the children's place runs a little big in the shoulders, as weird as that is.

she is 11 months old, and approx. 18 lbs and ~28-29" tall.

16.5 months, tall and skinny. 90th for weight and 95th for height.

Carter's fits her the best, their "skinny/snug" fit is awesome. We buy her regular size.
Gap fits fine but a little baggy. We only own tops from there.
H&M runs WAY large, we size down.
Gymboree fits well, but leans toward being wide. TTS for us.
Crazy 8 fits really well, they run thinner/skinnier than Gymboree. We buy her regular size or size up.
Circo runs big all over. We size down.
Old Navy is fine, we dont buy there much. We generally buy her regular size.

Overall, Carters and Gymbo/Crazy 8 are our favorites.

5 months, and under 20% for her weight and 50-60% for height. So far Carter's and GAP fit her the best. Gymboree and Crazy 8 are still a little big in the waist for her. Circo (Target) seems to run big on her as well.

Your LO sounds like mine. She's long, but she has never been very big weight wise. She's not very wide. I find Carter's fits her the best. Baby GAP is way too big. I also noticed that Children's Place fit her decently, too.

R is 99th for height and depending on the month 40-60th in weight. carters fit her almost perfectly, although she's still in their 6 month onesies at 7 months (with cloth diapers!) but i probably stretch things out. gap is wider, but long and ON fits too, although it's shorter than gap.

My LO is 99th for height and 75th for weight... she wears a lot of J&J and Gap (mostly true to age, but J&J is a little on the large size). Carters fits her well (seems narrower), but I have to majorly size up sometimes.

I feel like Ralph Lauren and Tea run small but both fit her well.

5.5 months old. Last visit 76th for height and 23rd for weight. I think she seems pretty average.

She wears a lot of Baby Gap, Tea Collection, and Carters with no issues.
Gymboree, Little Me, Pumpkin Patch, Old Navy, and Osh Kosh seems to run wide or big overall. I think H&M runs terribly big, she hasn't fit anything from there yet!
Juicy Couture, Janie and Jack, and Ralph Lauren always fit K well. She outgrows Ralph Lauren the first always though.

14 months, about 75% for height and 60-something for weight...

Carters runs true to size for us - we're maybe a little bit ahead, sizewise?
Children's Place runs true to size
Ralph Lauren runs large
Janie & Jack runs really large
BabyGap runs unpredictably, but wide. We have a pair of 6-12m pants that are still way too long for LO, and 2 pairs of 18-24m pants that are 3" different in length, and fit now at 14m. The last 2 pairs of pants are the same style, bought at the same time. Yeah, thanks Gap. That's helpful.

Tea brand seemed to run a bit big (we only had Tea stuff in newborn and 0-3, so can't say past that)
We don't have any Target brand so I'm not sure about that.

10m, proportionate, 50th% weight 50th% height.

He wears 9m or 9-12m.
Ralph Lauren fits well althoguh RL in general is small.
Carter's fits well but I don't love carter's.
My favorite right now is probably Jumping Beans shorts (Kohls, Macy's...). He has maybe 6 shorts from that brand that fit awesomely.
He also wears a ton of Nike and Under Armor, so I love those brands.
Calvin Klein and Guess jeans work, although they run small ing general.
H&M runs huge.
The by far best is Children' Place. He fits it so well and everything looks good and nothing is too wide or snug.
Old navy fit his body well too although we only have a few pieces from ON.

I love Baby Gap but some stuff is just way too wide.
Gymboree has been hit or miss, same with Old Navy.

Seven months. Very proportionate. Same height/weight percentile.

Carters fits her well but she has to wear two sizes up and is starting to stretch out 12 month sleepers, but 18 month ones seem way too big. I think my answer will be different next week.

BabyGap is one of the only brands that has fit true to size for us but I find the length to not match up well with the width.

Janie and jack works well, but runs small.

We don't have any target stuff.

I can't seem to get anything from oldnavy that is sized uniformly so I skip it.

If you could, list your child's age, body type, and the clothing brand or store that fits him/her best. I'm interested if there are shops or brands I'm neglecting to check out for our little string bean.

Our daughter is almost 5 weeks old, relatively long, but teeny. We've found that Carters fits her like a glove. We have a few Baby Gap items that work well, and the footless H&M sleepers have been decent, also.

Gymboree and Circo (Target) currently run *way* too wide.
