(Gilt featured them, so I took advantage of the good deal.) Then some friends gave us the gumdrop ones a week after Toddler X was born, and DH and MIL liked those more, so they only gave him those. At about 5.5 months she dropped the soother and is a thumb girl. I bought a bunch after a few nights if frustration. He liked soothies at the beginning and will take one occasionally. He doesn't love the nuk or mams. The orthodontic shape is supposed to be better for teeth too, when he gets those.
