Running for Justice is one, Not for Sale and the project to end human trafficking.<br /> We also give to our church, and have given to a marriage ministry started by some friends of ours in Colorad- Mountain Haven Marriage ministry.<br /> We also do samaritans purse shoeboxes as well as back to school backpacks through them.<br /> I haven't done it yet but I really want to volunteer at feed my starving children. They let kids help once they're 5, so we'll definitely be doing it with J when he's older.<br /> And I've volunteered my time/money at a local homeless shelter.</p> <p>I'm not very good at regularly donating though. Are ones close to me but I've donated to prostate cancer, breast cancer, pediatric brain cancer, charity for clean water in Africa in the past. We aren't very good about volunteering, which is something Id like to work on, especially as our daughter gets older. We let LO pick out the items for both of these events and put them in her class donation box at school. (i.e., I’m going to steal it) :silly: </p> <p>We do something similar for donations to the animal shelters with E. Even though she’s only 2, she knows what we’re doing and likes to help out. We go to a pet store/Target/whatever and let her pick out what kind of cat and dog food to buy to donate. I also sew stuff pillows/beds for cats at the shelter and E comes with me to the fabric store and I tell her what we are making and let her pick out the fabric to buy to make the beds with.
