Our house already has white cabinets that I love, with black laminate counters. So glad they are laminate so that we can justify redoing them sooner than if the sellers had put in stone countertops. </p> <p>For OP: I love my white cabinets and wouldn't want a different color. We had our golden oak cabinets painted white and while I loved the look, they constantly got chipped from light use (pre-kid!). That was very disappointing &amp; wasn't something our painter warned us about.
