We painted our bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets in our old house and I would NEVER do it again. That would make the tile look really intentional as an accent tile and you can let the vanity fade to the background. There were some eclectic fish on the walls that I didn’t hate. It’s definirely a default theme with all this blue, but we do live about 8 hours from the ocean. Also I know I might be in a minority but I despise beige/tan. It doesn’t scream blue when you walk in at least. For decor I did go kid-ish and got a white shower curtain with big multicolor polka dots and gray and white hand towels with unicorns and a gray and white bath mat. It’s not the most cohesive thing in the world but it makes the kids happy and looks nice enough. Tile is very blue, counter is grey blue, and sink is grey. Of course all 3 are in good condition so we can’t justify replacing. What color would you do the walls? Would you go full kids bath in here because the colors kind of lean that way? I don’t love kids bathrooms at all and prefer something lighter/brighter but if there’s a nice scheme out there I’d be okay to go with a kids bath.
