Bring out the blue in the duvet, even a blue that is a bit lighter than the hues in the duvet would be pretty. They have held up well. We've had them 3 years, they were $50. They are faded quite a bit but otherwise they're still soft. It is "velvet buckwheat". Our duvet is spring sparrow from pottery barn. Our current sheets (yellow gold) don't match the new bed and they're old and dingy anyway... What color should I get?
