It was like that when we moved in. I loved it. Very soothing but still colorful. Our bedding was blues and grays. Our new house has tan bedroom walls, and it's a fine color, but nothing exciting. We want to paint one wall darker again, maybe a darker blue green and sea glass blue green for the rest of our walls. It is an extremely pale green, with white trim and medium brown oak floors. Furniture is dark, we have a sleigh bed.</p> <p>I found it very challenging to find bedding. I had planned on all white, but for some reason, the room just looked like I threw a tarp on the bed (I have the Pottery Barn pearl embroidery set in white with porcelain blue, which picks up the color of the wall). So I struggled and looked until I found two duvet covers that had the color in it and I bought both (from Pottery Barn). So, if I learned anything, it was to pick the bedding first then select the paint color from there. Our current furniture is dark and bedding isn't a factor. Master bath (connected) is light gray floors, light gray tile, white walls, darker gray cabinets. </p> <p>We need a splash of color.....not sure if we should go with a blue hue? Green hue? Tan hue? What colors do you like? </p>
