If your scenera doesn't feel sturdy it probably isn't installed correct, which is just as important as the type of seat you have.<br /> Also, if your other seat is a true infant only seat you may want to make sure your 16 month old hasn't outgrown the height/weight restrictions for it. I have been a Child Passenger Safety Technician for over 4 years and I have never seen a 16 month old who still falls within the ranges for an infant only seat. Best of luck! I'm in love with it. It will rear face up to 40lbs, no height limit. And will forward face to 70lbs. or 50 inches. We won't have to buy another seat until he moves to a booster! I loved that it had a lot of the safety features of some of the more expensive seats, but at a price point I could stomach. We got it on sale for $149, but regular price is $179.
