Chicken breasts or thighs (boneless), pork chops, some sort of roast for the crockpot (depending on what's on sale...pork tenderloin, beef roast or pork butt), something to stir fry (which sometimes is the pork chops or chicken, but it's also been a steak or something) and then something for sandwiches, like bbq pork, italian sausage, bratwurst or chicken patties. I also am game to try something interesting on sale.

I guess I am not alone! I do want to add some more fish to our diets, I love buying from a local fish place but it is just far enough out of my way that I often just forget. I will pick up some pork tenderloin this week and give that a try for some variety.
@Happygal: Thanks for the recipes, I want to try that marinade for the flank steak, it sounds awesome!

I buy frozen organic grassfed beef/pork/chicken from a farm 1x a month. I hate white/lean meat so usually get a whole chicken. Ground beef 85%, pork shoulder, maybe some ribs. Also sometimes a blade roast. I get bored quite easily though and like a challenge so occasionally I'll try one of the crazier cuts the farm offers. I tried beef heart once....never again! Tongue actually was surprisingly good (super super tender) but the preparation was a little disturbing.

I also love love love the tough bony bits like oxtail and pork shanks. I usually make Chinese oxtail soup and a fennel apple braise for the shanks. Quite fatty and rich but so so good! I have no idea how I wasn't overweight before I got pregnant!

Pork tenderloins are very versatile. I want to make this soon: http://tideandthyme.com/indonesian-pork-tenderloin/

I also LOVE flank steak. Cooking light has a great marinade for it, which is basically soy sauce, ketchup, a little bit of sesame seed oil....maybe some brown sugar and ginger. Really tasty.

I feel like we are in a rut with food right now, even when I look for new recipes I have a hard time going out of my comfort zone. My fridge/freezer usually has boneless chicken breasts, whole chicken and ground beef. I used to buy ground turkey but after there was some issue with it over a year ago I stopped but I never really loved it anyway.

So, what do you buy regularly? Any good, easy recipes to get me going again? We will eat most any meat or seafood and stick with whole foods 90% of the time.
