Then she suddenly showed up and it all made sense. Mine came back at about 6 weeks, but I wasn't BFing. My first period wasn't too bad. I've heard people say that the first period was horrendous, but I didn't think so. More clots than usual, but nothing horrifying. I will say, though, that 18m PP &amp; my periods are still not regular (they're awful). I've been kind of crampy for the last few months, but this time I totally knew when I ovulated (really tender abdomen, tons of EWCM) so I was expecting her to show.</p> <p>The first day was pretty heavy but after that it was OK. It lasted 4-5 days, which is pretty usual for me. I bled every two weeks on that pill. I'm recently off a combo pill to TTC. My period came back perfectly at 28 day cycle. I don't want to scare you, but I honestly thought I was hemorrhaging. I had to double up on super plus tampons and overnight maxi's (not the ultra thins) just to not bleed through. I felt awful,mbut eating a big burger helped me feel a lot better (I guess because of the iron).
