I'm right there with you. But, when my principal told me that she wouldn't be able to post the job until this summer I felt like I needed to look at other options too, because I don't want to wait until summer and them miss out on other options. I just told them that at this point in my career I would really like to specialize in an area I feel very passionately about. I told them that I have loved my time at the school, and that I have not made any decisions yet, but that I wanted to be very up front about my plans. I’m in a K-4 building. I’m in a low SES building and the demographic is killing me. I just worded that I needed a change and that I was looking into options that were better for my family. </p> <p>Obviously, I didn’t state that admin don’t handle behaviors and it’s pure chaos. Or that the district doesn’t train us appropriately in trauma and our kids have so much trauma every day.
