-Went out sooner with T (also, no Nicu or pPHN for him!)
-Chilled out-hell be fine, is my motto
-Lots more swing time. Lots.
-Not tending to him right away. Big sis has priority in the evenings, often.
-Breastfed him

Too much TV for the baby!!! :( Xander has his shows that he watches and Logan is totally engrossed with them. We definitely didn't have the TV on this much when Xander was a baby...

Less anxiety (although not 100% gone)

Going out way sooner and a loot more frequently to help prevent cabin fever for my toddler.

Gotten ready every day (with#1 someday I would just change us both into clean PJs

Less take out, cooking way more than I did the first time.

Less tired. For some reason the MOTN feelings aren't exausting me they way they did the first time. Still using my phone in MOTN (ie: right now)

Introduced bottles later this time. The first time was at about 1 week because I couldn't get the baby latched one morning and we needed to go to the pedi. This time BFing has been easier so we introduced bottle at 3 weeks so LO could practice before I go back to work.

Well I'm less than 2 days in, but so far...

No nipple shield! I had to use one from the beginning with LO1 because of flat nipples and his latch. My nipples are cooperating this time and he's latching like a champ. I used the shields for all 13 months we nursed and while it wasn't too big of a deal for me, I can already see how nice it will be without them. And I hope I didn't just jinx myself!

Less anxiety. I was a mess with LO1, but I'm trying to take care of myself this time. I'm enjoying the little moments and trying not to stress about things I can't control.

I plan on babywearing way more often and earlier this time.

Interesting to read! I'm 2 days overdue with #2 so I'm curious about what I might do differently this time.

So far the only thing I've panned is to introduce bottles of pumped milk sooner so she takes to them. I waited too long with my first and he refused which made me less able to get help with feeding and gave me less freedom to leave the house alone.

So much different, but DS is a totally different baby than DD was.

Not tracking anything
Formula from almost the beginning
Out and about very early (kind of had to because of taking DD to school, etc)
We let him cry/fuss a bit
I also do not use my phone for MOTN feedings, but a bottle is way quicker than BFing was for DD

I actually used baby connect way more with #2. Probably because I always feel brain dead from chasing lo1 around I can't remember what is going on with the baby.
I went out way, way more.
I also dont use my phone in the motn this time.
Im not so crazy about his sleep schedule

Cosleeping.
Went out almost immediately after home from hospital with baby and my other LO.
Tracking nothing.
Lots of babywearing

Off the top of my head, I am not using babyconnect to track anything and just going by LO's lead, I keep a mental note making sure he has enough wet/dirty dipes and general last feeding times, etc. but I'm not glued to my phone app.

I also am avoiding my phone for motn wakeups aside from checking the time. I get more sleep that way for sure!

I had my mom stay with us with DS1 was born, but this time we've gotten into a really good routine with just us. And I am so thankful to have her help with DS1 during the day while I'm caring for DS2.

We haven't started daily baths yet even though DS2 is 3 weeks and it's when we started it with DS1. We'll probably start next week though to get a rough bedtime routine started.

I didn't blink twice about offering DS2 formula (even though my milk came in faster and easier this time) to treat his jaundice as well as for when he needs an extra bottle during growth spurt times, etc. (I had a FTM cryfest when we had to supplement during DS1's first week due to weight loss).

My pp recovery has been a breeze this time and I've been "getting ready" some days and not always in mombie mode like I was for weeks with DS1.

I've been out and about with DS2, love having a warm-season baby! With DS1 (a fall/winter baby) I didn't go out, save for pedi appts, for weeks!
