I do remember one year, my husband and I met up with a girlfriend of mine and we spent NYE on a rooftop deck in Baltimore City. We could see the fireworks from there. Post marriage, I think we might've hung out one year and another year, we did a New Year's Eve run at the park. The last year before kids, we were on a trip and was mountain hiking. We always did neighborhood parties. My parents started it to keep us home and safe, they rotate with the neighbors for who throws the party. One we went to a big party and had to much to drink. The second I was just out of the hospital from a kidney surgery. We stayed in bed and drank juice. Since we were married we pretty much stay home. It was a blast! But after that I think we've been home every year since. We're both homebodies. </p> <p>Before having kids, sometimes I went out with friends to a club, and sometimes I stayed home and watched the ball drop.</p> <p>Now we're married with two kids, and we're at home, drinking champagne, eating snacks, and watching the ball drop on tv. I wouldn't want it any other way!</p> <p>What were your new year's eves like pre kids and pre marriage? </p>
